Currently working as part of a dedicated unit within MediaMonks, NY, leading the creative process and pitches, taking on campaigns and projects big and small. Partner with your creative counterparts to direct creative and design and present to clients, pitching new projects and proposals for production. Establish brand guidelines to defining the art direction for interactive campaigns, websites, content, and social media. Responsible for the conception, creation, and execution of our high-stakes projects. Translate briefs from various clients into digestible road-maps for creative exploration. Produce creative proposals, mock-ups, and decks to kick-start new campaigns. Help to make sure all work is conceptually in line with the campaign’s objectives and client expectations.

Responsible for creating 360 campaigns (TV/video, radio, web, mobile, social, interactive, print, etc). Guide, teach and mentor members of the creative department in conceptual development. Partner with your account teams to provide world-class service to clients. Work collaboratively with UX, Designers, Copywriters, Project Management, Content, and Technical team members. Experience with designing fluid grids that work responsively for mobile, tablet, and desktop. Highly conceptual thinking in both visual and interaction design as well as a solid understanding of designing intuitive site functionality, interaction, user interfaces, and navigation.

Lead the team through multiple ongoing timelines. Responsible for managing and mentoring a group of 3 – 6 Sr. Designers, Designers, and Jr. Designers on multiple projects. Work with interaction designers to build and craft large complex systems and experiences from dynamic interfaces to large systematic websites. Collaborate with team members on new campaign concepts, providing fresh thinking and strategic planning. Execute design for any given project when the quality of work deems to be improved in order to meet R/GA’s design standards.

Create multiple design concepts from the creative brief. Lead design and oversee multiple projects. Responsible for developing innovative design and direction on projects, oversee and mentor designers, and present work to clients. Under the guidance of the Creative Director, oversee a wide range of web-related projects including website designs, interactive marketing campaigns, graphic user interfaces, broadcast campaigns, and presentation materials. Direct and oversee film/video shoots from concept through production.

Gale Group Art Director 2007 – 2008
Advertising agency specializing in high-end fashion, apparel, and beauty. Responsibilities included concept campaigns, photo art direction, page layout, collateral, package design, assign photo retouching requests. Art direct and concept photoshoots, partner with agency director in choosing photographer, location, stylist, casting, and whatever means necessary. Worked within, and developed budgets for photoshoots and assigned printed media.
Macy’s East Art Director Special Projects 2005 – 2007
Responsible for all advertising for Macy’s Department Stores. Created direct mail, magazine and weekly newspaper advertisements. Produced new creative concepts such as billboards, luxury books, bridal campaigns, and magazine advertisements. Attend photo shoots when necessary with Creative Director. Was appointed to work on the Martha Stewart nationwide launch. Developed new concepts and identity for Martha Stewart exclusively at Macy’s. Was chosen as a mentor for incoming Jr. Art Directors.
